The restaurant name "The Cliff" was inspired by the huge cliff wall facing the back patio where diners can dine on the impressive Three tier covered outdoor patio which seats up to 220 people. In the evening the cliff is lit and makes for a beautiful romantic yet serene atmosphere. The view alone any time of day is worth the short drive down Hwy 77.

Indoor dining has a seating capacity of approximately 140 people. The walls boasts the entire rare and original artwork collection of the Cowboys and Indians Series by the late legendary artist Andy Warhol. Besides The Cliff, this series can only be found in New York City's Modern Museum of Art and The Andy Wahl Museum.

The cliff has a rich history as it has been witness to the Trail of Tears and countless cattle drives at the turn of the century.
The waters of Honey Creek were once dammed to create an enormous swimming pool for a resort in the 30's and 40's and have been stocked with freshwater mountain trout in the 70's

We are the first establishment in Turner Falls to serve liquor by the glass thanks to new legislation passed earlier this year and the only place in the area to operate on such hours.

Our Chef Tyrone Davis is from New Orleans and has been cooking since age 12 under his Grandma's teachings so he is an expert in Creole Cuisine. He makes a lot of Creole Specials to compliment our daily menu. He has worked at many well known establishments and was working at Fearing's Restaurant at The Ritz Carlton in Dallas when he was asked to come on board with us.

Meet Our Executive Chef

Tyrone Davis will tell you he’s been in the kitchen since he was 12 years old. While growing up in New Orleans his grandmother, “Ma-Ma,” taught Davis everything he knows about Creole cuisine. Davis has worked in New Orleans’ Windsor Court Hotel, Brennan’s and Muriell’s restaurants and Fearing’s Restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton of Dallas Texas. Davis learned Southwest style cuisine while working with Fearing’s Restaurant owner, Dean Fearing. While working for the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Davis was recruited by Dr. Ron Bulard and Alvin Moody to be the Chef of the restaurant.
